High-Cannabidiol cannabis extracts can be used to treat epilepsy and other diseases

There has been a dramatic rise in news attention to medicinal cannabis in 2013, with reports on CNN, ABC, CBS, and local publications about high-cannabidiol cannabis oil effectively controlling the symptoms of rare epileptic conditions like Dravet syndrome, Doose syndrome, infantile spasms, cortical dysplasia, and more. These diseases can cause seizures in the hundreds or thousands every week, and they also have a variety of developmental consequences. For families with children suffering from such conditions, the challenges are overwhelming. Because of the complex nature and complications of Dravet Syndrome and its related syndromes traditional pharmaceuticals are often ineffective and can make the situation worse. Families have turned to high-CBD cannabis oils for relief. It is working with amazing efficacy.

High-CBD cannabis extract is not psychoactive and appears to be more beneficial than high levels of THC. Cannabidiol is another cannabis cannabinoid. It's similar to the well-known psychoactive THC. However, there has been significant research that supports its neuroprotective properties as well. Additionally, cannabis oil can be extracted from cannabis. Concentrated cannabinoids can be consumed orally rather than smoked. This preserves medicinal compounds and allows them more easily to reach the digestive system than the respiratory system.

The research suggests that CBD has panacea-like properties, and in practice, this is proving to be the case. On August 11th, 2013, Sanjay Gupta released a documentary on CNN about Charlotte Figi. Charlotte was a Dravet syndrome young patient. She had 300 grand mal seizures per week. No pharmaceuticals or dietary changes could do anything to reduce this number. Charlotte's seizures stopped when Charlotte's parents first discovered high-CBD cannabis. She now has less than three minor seizures a month. This is a remarkable case, and it's not an isolated one. Dr. Margaret Gedde of Colorado Springs is monitoring 11 new clients of the Stanely Brothers, who provide Charlotte's high CBD medicine. 9 of them experienced seizures reductions of 90-100%. Again, this is amazing.

CBD has been shown to be very effective against epileptic conditions. Not even the most well-researched pharmaceuticals can induce healing. High-CBD cannabis has oil reduces symptoms quickly and effectively. There are no side effects, including more energy, learning, behavior improvement, and other benefits.

It shouldn't surprise that such research has been ongoing for years. Research has shown that cannabinoids can be used to treat epilepsy and other serious conditions. And in practice, for epilepsy and these other conditions, the results are translating to humans. People have been reliably eliminating cancers for years and mitigating diseases like diabetes, Crohn's, fibromyalgia, heart disease, chronic pain, multiple sclerosis, and more. This is the most serious problem we face and must be given more attention.
